レコードコレクターズ５月号

　レコードコレクターズ最新号（５月号）の特集「究極のギターソロ：ロック編」で原稿を書かせていただきました。先ずはベスト20のリストを要請され、その中から編集部が選択して個々の筆者に原稿を振り当て、ある程度の票基準だと思いますが、編集部で調整された203曲が今回の特集です。因みに私の20曲リストは以下でした。（曲名/アーティスト/ギタリスト/収録アルバム）

　簡単に選べるかと思っていたら、案外そうでも無かった。英米ロック/ポップスそしてインスト無しで曲基準しかも60〜80年代。ジミー・ブライアント、バディー・ミラー、ロバート・クイン、マーク・リボー、クリス・スペディング、ジェイムズ・ブラッド・ウルマー、マック・ゲイデン、JJ・ケイル等は曲で選べずオミットし、コーネル・デュプリーやデヴィッド・T・ウォーカーのロック系セッションもあえてこれを選ばずとも、でカット。
　で、送られてきた本誌をめくってみたら、半分くらいは知らないものだったが、ハードロックやメタルは仕方がないか。
